About Me:
I am a Colorado native, soon to move to Iowa for my college education. I download as many free trials of games as humanly possible, and hopefully my insights/opinions can be at least somewhat useful for others.
Interests:
I'm an avid runner, eating all the carbs I can (yay pasta and bread!), playing clarinet when I feel like it, reading, playing PC games, listening to music. The usual.
Favorite Saying
Are these space pants? Because my ass is out of this world!
Favorite Music:
Everything that isn't country (though Carrie Underwood & the Dixie Chicks get a repreive), techno (again there are some exceptions), or contrived hip-hop.

Sally's Salon = Spectacular
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Increasing difficulty =/= boredom, Interactive environment, Cute graphics, Endless upgrades

Cons:
None that have become apparent after 1 hour's worth of gameplay.

Comments:
Much better than Belle's Beauty Boutique, this game has more realistic gameplay, honestly, how could all those people want the same haircut? The customers that actually show varying emotions is an amazing addition. As well as the additional stations provided in each level, which increase the difficulty. I've only played the trial on realarcade, but this game promises to be worth my money...

Chocolatier, Even the Pixelated Chocolate Makes Me Drool
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Realistic (inventory degrades after time, travel uses up time), Involves chocolate, Intricate story line

Cons:
The graphics, the constant need to "reconfigure" machines

Comments:
A Tycoon game of sorts, with tons of goals and locations. The use of actual locations, detailed story line, inventory deterioration, and expensive travel all add to the realistic feel. On your quest to become the ultimate chocolatier and reunite a famous family whose story can be told in chocolate you must go on endless mini-quests to get new ingredients, recipes, and the ever important money.

Burger Island = Big Hit
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Graphics, Gameplay

Cons:
The freakin' constant bell ringing

Comments:
Similiar to the diner games I have come to know & love, but with a unique twist. With a quite literal "hands on" experience, you have to make the food exactly how it is ordered (and I do mean exactly, layering pickles under cheese renders a cheeseburger inedible). With three different food stations (burgers [both regular and vegetarian], fries, and shakes), & the seemingly endles...

Nanny Mania, or Why I'll Never Have Kids
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Amazing graphics, Realistic

Cons:
Tons of non-stop clicking

Comments:
Another multitasking game that requires an insane amount of clicking and prioritizing . With 3 playable characters (Nanny, Mom, and Dad), the situations change along with the unique problems and tasks that a nanny or parent must face in a chaotic & messy house. I liked the fact that when playing as the Dad, the Mom becomes the bread winner & Mayer. However as the Nanny, both parents are di...

Out of Your Mind
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Graphics, Story lin, Originality

Cons:
A bit difficult at times

Comments:
With beautiful graphics and an original story line, it's a wonderfully fresh game. With many levels that introduce new characters, mind gunk, and the omnipresent negatics it's a long game. Not to mention your shady employer, & the pick your ending story line after you finish each week. There are many difficult levels that require multiple tries, making this game worth more than an ho...

Plantasia, a Plethora of Pleasure
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Gameplay

Cons:
Graphics

Comments:
To complete you training to become a fairy you must grant a single wish, unfortunately it's to restore the gardens of an enormous estate, by hand. This game requires a great amount of strategy (especially near the end), deciding how to spend your magic points, fight off the ****ds of flower eating pests, & still rebuild all those statues. Though the graphics leave something to be desired,...

Pizza Frenzy, Glorified Entry-Level Jobs at Their Best
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Long game, Game play, Story line

Cons:
Not any glaring cons

Comments:
Though you are only a pizza delivery boy/girl, this game is much more exciting than the real life job must be. When you aren't memorizing and delivering pizza orders, turning in prank callers to the cops, collecting money, or exactly copying pre-made pizzas for extra dough, you can make your own pizzas and sell them for even more cash. A frantic clicker to be sure, it keeps from becoming stal...

Belle's Beauty Boutique, Beacon of Hope
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Long game, Cute

Cons:
Repetitive, Easy

Comments:
Like my beloved diner games, the customers that you must sit (though this time there's no color matching involved), wait on hand & foot, & collect your much wanted money/tips from. But this time, you cater to their hair and beauty needs: washing, cutting, coloring, cutting, drying, & painting nails. It's easy to finish, but that's why you get a whole new difficulty upon ...

The Apprentice LA is A-Okay
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Graphics, Gameplay

Cons:
A little unoriginal

Comments:
So much better than the first! A mash-up of the diner games I have come to know & love with slightly different locales (surf shop, sushi joint, swanky boutique, & charity ball), it's right up my alley. Frantic clicking is garunteed, as the difficulty increases with each level, as well as a ton of upgrades, customers, & products. As I have mastered said frantic clicking, I never go...

The Secret of Bird Island is that it Soars Above the Rest
Written by: undiep

Pros:
Graphics, Gameplay, Gaming atmosphere

Cons:
It is a bit redundant, especially after the main quest is completed.

Comments:
Amazing graphics and sounds, creates an oddly realistic feel to the game. With 3d renders of actual birds (along with completely made-up ones created by other players), you truly feel as though you are an avian photographer. It's relatively easy to complete once you get your picture-taking mouse s****s up to par.
